Could you really enjoy your vacation knowing that Mr. Whiskers is back home or at some pet-sitting service? Of course not. Could you sip your cocktail not thinking about Fido’s sad eyes as he searches for you? Surely, no – you are not a monster. But does that mean that you are never to have another vacation in your life, just because you love your pets? The answer is, again, negative. There are a lot of people with the same issue, and the hospitality industry responded to these demands. It is now easier than ever to choose a destination that you can enjoy together with your pet. The thing you should consider though is the weather conditions and if your dog is able to enjoy the climate you are traveling to - you can begin!
Key West is one of the best places for a vacation. It is a truly dog friendly area, as well. Cape Sans Blas is packed with off leash beaches and it has an amazing number of sunny hours. If both you and your puppy are outdoorsy types, visit some of the Disney Campsites in California. It will be a true adventure.
There are several places that are simply perfect for you and your dog, on a vacation. If you have a small dog, or the one that does not really love water, you can go to LA and enjoy yourself. There is a downtown bar there that allows dogs throughout day and night. Urban walks will be fun for you and your dog alike. Those with big, water loving dogs will enjoy the gorgeous Carmel beach in Florida. Dogs are allowed off leash there.
Roca Del Valles, Spain
All these places can be marked as dog-friendly. However, the good people of Roca Del Valles take this one step further – they actually have a waterpark made for dogs. Saving vests and floating toys available. That is definitely a destination for true dog lovers.
The vast frontiers of Canada definitely offer space and good air for your dog to enjoy. Lake Louise is simply perfect with its breath-taking scenery and a lot of dog friendly accommodation options. If you want something a little bit more urban, go to Vancouver. If your pup is on its leash, nobody will mind.
Devon, The United Kingdom
Nearby coast and scenic rock formations will make your stay in Devon unforgettable and they will provide a lot of opportunities for great hikes with your dog. Fido will definitely enjoy all that green areas that Devon has a lot. Guest houses here usually welcome dogs in rooms and in bar. Some of them even have stashes of bones for your four-legged friend.
This is definitely one of the most pet-friendly places in Europe. When in Amsterdam, just make sure that you clean up after your dog and that it does not jeopardize anybody in any way. You can bring them in almost anywhere and you can be in the public transportation, as well.
This exotic destination will welcome you and your pet. Make sure that you bring the proof that your pet is vaccinated against rabies and that it has a passport. Browse meqasa.com and find a good accommodation for you and your buddy. There are so many things to see and so many trails to walk in Accra.
Christchurch, New Zealand
Keep your pup on a leash and clean up after them and that gives you the right to enjoy endless hiking and cycling trails of Christchurch. You can spend days at nearby Bottle Lake Forest Park.
Hervey Bay, Australia
This is the place where people usually go to see whale migrations. This magnificent place, also, is very pet friendly. Lions Park is near an off leash beach area and there are also dog clean up bags available there. You will definitely feel welcome.
Cape Town, South Africa
You will easily find a pet-friendly accommodation here, but you need to let the owner know in advance. Once there, you can spend your days walking your pup in the De Waal Park. Just to be sure, keep your buddy on the leash.
Wherever you decide to go, make sure that you have your pup’s passport, leash, all the necessary documentation and all the vaccination proofs. In that way, you can just relax and enjoy the pet friendly areas, wherever you go.
