Fox? Fox? Where - On our walk that's where.....

My family loves taking me for walks on the trails by our house and I love it too. No matter how many times it happens, those silly people get all excited every time we see another animal besides dogs and squirrels..ok so they get a little excited over those too. Today we saw a fox.

My big human sister Amber thought she should venture down to the creek. I usually go down there too but I kinda knew something she didn't. Of course, she didn't understand me. I hope she learns dog speak soon.

Anyway, she starts going down the hill and sees something moving in the bushes across the creek. She totally does the wrong thing and starts running toward Mom. Then, my other human siblings follow suit. I love running so I figured I would go ahead and run too.

But then Mom reminded us what we were supposed to do and we all felt silly. We had only run a few feet anyway so if that calm little fox had been aggressive -- or worse, a coyote -- we all might have been lunch.

Silly humans!

About the Author

Buddy is a former stray who chose his forever family by showing up cold, neglected, and lonely right outside their door. Now he blogs and facebooks about his safer (but sometimes hilarious) adventures. Occasionally, he even teaches a lesson or two. Buddy's favorite people are kids and he hopes to teach all creatures (human and fur) about the special bond between animals and children. He also enjoys helping lost animals find their owners and helping shelter pets & strays find their forever homes.
